Pundits have unloaded a thousand reasons why Trump won.  Those on the left say he tapped into the rage of racist, xenophobic, sexist, hate mongers.  They insist that he managed to direct the rage of toothless, white-trash America to the polls and squeaked out a victory.

Or another popular conspiracy theory of the left is that it was the Russians and WikiLeaks along with secret agent, James Comey, that did Hillary Clinton in, giving the victory to Trump.

Those on the right say that it was Hillary’s record that did her in.  Her failure in Benghazi that led to the deaths of Ambassador Stevens, Sean Smith, Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods, or her felonious violation of the Security Laws as Secretary of State, or her private email server, whose security protocol seemed to resemble a revolving door more than a vault door.  Still others refer to her family crime syndicate and the influence peddling at the Clinton Foundation.

While all of these may be contributing factors, they are not, in my opinion, the secret to the success of Donald Trump on election day.  I think Donald Trump won because of one single factor that neither the elite media or the establishment politicians do not – and perhaps never will – grasp.

The elite media had this election all wrapped up.  Hillary was going to be president; the democrats were going to take the senate and America would be well on its way to the socialist vision they have been working toward for so very long.  The bias of the media simply blinded them to the reality of the American political land scape.  Not only were they the cheerleaders for Hillary Clinton, they were insulting and condescending to both Donald Trump and more importantly, his supporters.

They made it clear that anyone who supported Trump must, by their standards, be a misogynist, sexist, racist rube unfit to even be called an American, let alone a voter.  But that arrogant blindness was their undoing.  Here is what a one honest member of the media said about his and their election performance.

This astounding mea culpa conceded that some of the biggest names in establishment journalism were victims of their own biases, acknowledging that the evidence was now indisputable.

This CBS article was self-critical, accusing the media of having "missed the story, after having spent months mocking the people who had a better sense of what was going on." Read The Entire Story Here.

Will Rahn of CBS and the Washington Bureau Chief for The Daily Beast not only admitted that much of the public hates the mainstream media, he asserted they had good reason to do so.

"The audience for our glib analysis and contempt for much of the electorate, it turned out, was rather limited. This was particularly true when it came to voters, the ones who turned out by the millions to deliver not only a rebuke to the political system but also the people who cover it. Trump knew what he was doing when he invited his crowds to jeer and hiss the reporters covering him. They hate us, and have for some time.

"And can you blame them? Journalists love mocking Trump supporters. We insult their appearances. We dismiss them as racists and sexists. We emote on Twitter about how this or that comment or policy makes us feel one way or the other, and yet we reject their feelings as invalid."

He accused the media of talking down to conservatives and patronizing them.

"But much of that starts from the assumption that Trump voters are backward, and that it's our duty to catalogue and ultimately reverse that backwardness. What can we do to get these people to stop worshiping their false god and accept our gospel?"

All of this is beginning to point to the real reason Donald Trump is the President-elect and Hillary is home trying to figure it all out.

But America, well, America didn’t have any trouble figuring it out.  The key to the Trump victory is really quite simple and obvious.  Trump is not a politician.  He is a business man.  He knows that good business is all about finding a need and filling that pre-existing need.

Because he is not among the elitist political class, he had a different idea of America.  Career politicians and the professional political class see “We the People” as servants to live under the edicts they spew out on a painfully regular schedule.  They see Americans as the great unwashed masses over whom they rule with Olympian power and wisdom.  The truth is they look down on us and despitefully disdain having to deal with us at all.

Most in D.C.’s circle of power still don’t understand the anger and unrest that drove the Tea Party movement.  They see it only as a threat to their god-like power and unquestionable rule.  They did not – and still don’t see – the anger or hear the desperation in the voices of the downtrodden in America.

It is as if fly-over America has become invisible to the media and to the power elite in Washington D.C. and state capitals across the country.  But average America was not invisible to Donald Trump and in the end, the reason that Donald Trump was able to walk on water and pull off a miracle election is simple.  Trump convinced America that he saw us.  We were not invisible to him.

He embraced conservatives who were terrified at the profligate spending in Washington D.C.  He saw and spoke to on a very human level the tens of millions of unemployed Americans who live in the fear that they will lose everything they have worked their entire lives for.

He saw the fear in the eyes of Americans as open borders and tens of millions of illegals rushed in threatening American jobs and driving down wages below a living standard.  He embraced the rage of sane Americans who were horrified that the Obama Regime was bringing in thousands upon thousands of Islamists from terrorist countries and resettling them like time-bombs in U.S. cities across the country.

While Trump was embracing the individual Americans by the millions, Mrs. Clinton was cold, dismissive, had unbearable baggage, hid from the media, and was incapable of seeing America as it was, instead of how she and the media perceived it to be.  Trump on the other hand found a way to walk on water by simply looking across the American horizon and seeing both America and Americans.

Whether you were a plumber or executive, young or old, white, black or Hispanic, Trump saw you.  He spoke to America in a way that let them know that they were no longer invisible, at least not to him.

So, let the analysts spew in all the rhetorical nonsense.  Let the left continue to think it is about racist, xenophobic rednecks – too ignorant to participate in the process – because it is their arrogance and ignorance that just cost them this historic election.  Let the media continue to bask in their own backwards denial, for truly it is them – not us – that are wallowing in fantasy.

But let us be sober and remember that we are now one team.  Our job is just beginning.  We have been tasked with a historic opportunity to right the ship of state.  Our job is to hold Mr. Trump’s feet to the fire, not because he is evil, but because he is in proximity to some of the most evil men in the world … politicians.

It is our job to guard that 20-20 vision which allowed him to see the real America and assure that his vision doesn’t get clouded by the trappings of power or the chimera of compromise.  There can be no compromise with evil.  All the good in the world will be spoiled instantly when even small compromises with evil is instituted.  Compromise is the devil’s-own brew and it is death to a movement.

Finally, and most importantly, it is our job to pray for President-elect Donald J. Trump.  This presidency started with a miracle and Trump walked on water.  Trump beat the media, the establishment, the Democrats, Hillary Clinton, the GOP elites, and the international cabal of evil, headed up by the likes of George Soros and others of his ilk.

I hope that none of us are foolish or arrogant enough to believe that this was a mere human endeavor.  This has the hand of Divine Providence written all over it.  That Divine Providence cannot and will not operate to endorse or compromise with evil.  To that end, my fellow Americans, let us enter this extraordinary and miraculous venture with eyes wide open and hearts that humbly acknowledge the intervention of a merciful God giving America yet another reprieve.  Pray that we do not waste this God-given opportunity and our divine appointment with destiny.
