Nominated For Best Performance: Schumer Weeps: 'This Executive Order Was Mean-Spirited and Un-American'

Proving their adroit skills at grand standing and policy by allegory, Senate Minority Leader, Chuck Schumer, called a news conference on Sunday to decry President Donald Trump’s executive order temporarily banning immigration from “Muslim-majority" countries. Schumer said that the ban was “bad for America, bad for our national security” and goes against “what America has always been about.”
What Schumer did not speak about was 911, San Bernardino, Boston, the Orlando night club attacks or other terrorist attacks. Nor did he talk about multiple fatwas of militant Islam demanding the destruction of the U.S. with resettlement Jihad. Somehow, the blubbering Schumer also failed to mention the chaos in Germany, Sweden, France, and most European countries that have allowed millions of unvetted “refugees” in from Islamic states controlled or heavily influenced by militant Islamists.
"I was named after my Uncle Ellis, who was named after Ellis Island," he said. Schumer said he gave his daughter the middle name Emma, after Emma Lazarus, the poet who wrote the famous lines on the pedestal of the Statue of Liberty: "Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to be free," Schumer quoted, before choking up, unable to continue reading the poem.
Schumer continued his well-rehearsed impromptu speech: "So, this executive order was mean-spirited and un-American. It was implemented in a way that created chaos and confusion across the country, and it will only serve to embolden and inspire those around the globe who will do us harm."
But any intelligent person must ask: "How can they, militant Islam, become more emboldened? Has Schumer not seen ISIS and has he not heard them breathing out threats against the U.S. and Israel? Did not militant Islam carry out 911 for no other reason than its hatred of the United States?"
He rounds up a few adversely affected Muslims making the case that vetting people before they come here is “unamerican.” Once again Schumer forgets what militant Islam represents death and terror. Under Islam there are only two houses in the world: the House of Islam and the House of War. You are either bowing to Islam’s god or you are under attack by Islam. That is the sum total of the Islamic world view ... convert or die.
And as for being unamerican, Schumer has blotted out—or simply ignoredt—U.S. history. We have been fighting militant Islam since our country’s beginning. Perhaps, in his emotion-driven ignorance, Schumer has forgotten the “Barbary Wars” instigated by militant Islam. Our third president, Thomas Jefferson, in 1801, refused to pay the tribute demanded by militant Islamists and went to war at Tripoli, Libyat—the First Barbary Wart—inspiring the line from the Marine hymn, “from the shores of Tripoli,”.
Throwing American safety and security to the wind, Schumer self-righteously intoned, "It must be reversed immediately. Senate Democrats are going to introduce legislation to overturn this and move it as quickly as we can. And I, as your senator from New York, will claw, scrap, and fight with every fiber of my being until these orders are overturned."
So, it appears that Senator Schumer is absolutely committed to seeing to it that your safety is compromised and that unvetted militant Islamists find a home in the United States.
President Trump’s executive order suspended only immigration from seven majority-Muslim countries that have a history of exporting terrorism for 90 days, giving the Administration time to devise an adequate vetting procedure to protect America from militant Islamists slipping into the country. Unfortunately, hundreds of thousands of unscreened “refugees” have come here from terrorist countries because of the truly anti-American policies of Mr. Obama and his supporters like Mr. Schumer. Who knows how many of these newly arrived “guests” will turn out to be terrorists.
The Trump executive orders do not include all Muslim countries, which is the subtle implication of Schumer and others on the left. The countries included in the ban are on the list because of their history of exporting terrorism. Those countries are Iraq, Syria, Iran, Sudan, Libya, Somalia and Yemen.
An arrogant Schumer and his party are not in the White House and are a minority in governors' mansions, state houses, the U.S. House and the U.S. Senate because of these very policies, which throw our safety and sovereignty to the whirlwind for nothing more than an attempt at political advantage. Schumer and his unamerican ilk are demanding that the Trump Administration reverse this executive order. He said it shows "incompetence" and he doubts if it is constitutional.
However, one highly respected and well-recognized constitutional scholar from the left, Jonathan Turley, of George Town University disagrees with Schumer. Turley, while disagreeing with the policy, says:
"The law does favor President Trump in this regard," Turley said Sunday during an appearance on CNN's Fareed Zakaria GPS. "I don't like this order. I think it's a terrible mistake - but that doesn't go into the legal analysis. The Court has been extremely deferential to presidents on the border."
None of thi, of course, will have any effect on Mr. Schumer. He is a committed leftist who believes in the dissolution of U.S. borders and nation states in general and is acting on his vision of a borderless world and a time of glorious global governance. I think Bible prophecy describes that time as “the great tribulation.”Militant Islam, Donald Trump, Chuck Schumer, Tripoli, Donald Trump , Militant ISlam , Extreme Vetting , Trump Executive Order, Vetting Muslims
