Nuns Respond to Trump Religious Freedom Executive Order

One of the groups relentlessly persecuted by the Obama Regime was the Little Sisters of the Poor. They have been the victims of a continued onslaught by the anti-Christian Obama Justice Department for years. After a draft of the executive order from President Trump dealing with religious freedom was leaked to the media the demurring nuns found themselves once again in the media spotlight.
“I am aware of the draft executive order that seems to be circulating as of the last couple of days,” Sister Constance Veit, director of communications for the Little Sisters of the Poor in the U.S., told reporters on Friday. “It’s just a very hopeful sign that things could be coming to an end.”
The Little Sisters of the poor are a selfless group of nuns who have a special ministry to the elderly who are poor. Under the failed ObamaCare tyranny, they were faced with ongoing court battles owing to the fact that the anti-Christian Obama Regime held in complete disregard their religious convictions, attempting to force them to take part in providing contraceptive and abortifacient coverage to their employees.
While there was a list of exemptions and corrections made in the Trump draft executive order it specifically ordered the secretaries of Health and Human Services, Labor, and Treasury to grant relief to the Little Sisters of the Poor.
In the video below, Constance Veit addresses some of the anti-Trump criticisms aimed at the President’s executive order, including baseless allegations that it would enable discrimination. “Discrimination or racism” are a couple of the standard pejoratives leveled at Christians, conservatives and anything the left opposes or with which they disagree.Obama Regime, Abortion, Donald Trump, Anti-Christian, Christianity, Faith, Religious Freedom, Faith , Donald Trump , Abortion , Little Sisters of The Poor, Constance Viet
