ESPN has taken to Twitter to gloss over the comments of host Jemele Hill who called President Trump a “White Supremacist.”

While conservatives are fired at ESPN for holding private positions on transgenderism, same sex marriage, and etc., Jemele Hill’s reprehensible remarks are, according to ESPN apparently worth nothing more than a very gentle slap on the wrist.  How long do you believe a conservativebroadcaster would have been at ESPN if they had made those comments about President Obama?  Here are their comments.

"The comments on Twitter from Jemele Hill regarding the President do not represent the position of ESPN," the network stated on Tuesday. "We have addressed this with Jemele and she recognizes her actions were inappropriate."

The co-host of the 6 p.m. commentary spot laughingly called "SportsCenter" broadcast posted a series of tweets Monday night about the President Trump. In her racist rant, she called Trump a white supremacist "who has largely surrounded himself [with] other white supremacists." and called him "ignorant" and "offensive."

During her rant she also slammed Twitter users who had the temerity to disagree with her and defended the president.

Hill has been on ESPN since 2013. She took on the 6 p.m. time slot in February.  Not only is she not being fired but it would seem here remarks have received tacit approval inasmuch as she paid no price for them.  Still ESPN wonders why they are losing viewership.  Who do they think watches sports on TV, the left?  They only time they watch sports is when there is a racial controversy that they can bemoan.
