Following the build-up and fanfare over last week's release of the controversial memo from House Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes, another memo released by Sen. Chuck Grassley seems to have fallen off the radar.

Wall Street Journal columnist Kimberly Strassel asked why "the (mostly) unredacted" memo from the Iowa Republican was not "front page news" as she expounded in a tweet-storm on Wednesday.

The eyebrow-raising allegations in Grassley's memo, released on Tuesday, contend that Hillary Clinton's campaign passed damaging information on to former British spy and author of the infamous "Trump dossier," Christopher Steele.

Strassel made the case for why the more damaging memo is not getting its share of media airtime.

Strassel discussed the memo with Fox News' Laura Ingraham on "The Angle" Wednesday.

"It is troubling enough that the Clinton Campaign funded Mr. Steele's work, but that these Clinton associates were contemporaneously feeding Mr. Steele allegations raises additional concerns about his credibility," Grassley, chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, and Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., wrote to Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and FBI Director Christopher Wray, according to Fox News.

"...there is substantial evidence suggesting that Mr. Steele materially misled the FBI about a key aspect of his dossier efforts, one which bears on his credibility," the senators wrote.

Fox News Chief Intelligence correspondent, Catherine Herridge, reported on the memo earlier this week.
