Jefferson Beauregard Sessions is out at the DOJ. Sessions turn in his letter of resignation on Wednesday and newly appointed acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker is expected to remove Rod Rosenstein from oversight on the Mueller probe according to DOJ officials.
While Rosenstein is at this point remaining Deputy Attorney General, Washington is filled with rumors of his resignation within 24 to 48 hours. Time will tell, but it has been noted that following the removal of Sessions Rosenstein made a trip to the White House after which he cancelled a speech in San Francisco scheduled for Thursday.
NBC is reporting that the Aspen Institute for whom Rosenstein was scheduled to speak announced the cancellation but their spokesman gave no reason for the cancellation.
Here’s the report from NBC:
DAG Rod Rosenstein has canceled a speech scheduled for Thursday in San Francisco, the Aspen Institute says. Rosenstein was scheduled to speak to the organization's cybersecurity summit.
The institute says it wasn't given a reason for the cancelation.

Having been pushed aside for the acting AG job and being relieved of oversight on the Mueller Witch Hunt he illegally created, and with the possibility of his fraudulent FISA warrant about to be declassified, I think it can be said with confidence that Rod Rosenstein has had a very rough day. It would surely seem that things are not looking too good for DAG Rod Rosenstein.Department of Justice, Rod Rosenstein, Jeff Sessions, Matthew Whitaker, Donald Trump
